Yes, we have limited on-site parking available for guests free of charge.

The nearest main train stations are Bowral or Moss Vale. We recommend arranging private transport from the station, as public transport options are limited. Taxis and rideshare services are available from these stations.

While Hartzer Park is not fully wheelchair accessible, our heritage building includes lift access to all levels, dining areas, and selected accommodation. When enquiring, please discuss your specific accessibility needs with us so we can arrange suitable room allocation.

Hartzer Park is strictly a smoke-free property, both indoors and throughout the grounds. For groups over 18, responsible alcohol consumption is permitted with prior approval from Centre Management.

Unfortunately, pets are not permitted at Hartzer Park, with the exception of registered assistance animals. Please notify us in advance if you'll be accompanied by an assistance animal.

Both! While we primarily host group retreats, individuals can book our hermitage studios or studio apartments for personal retreat time. Self-catering is required for individual bookings.

No, we offer our beautiful chapel for Catholic wedding ceremonies only. We do not provide reception facilities or catering for wedding receptions.

Yes, our chapel is approved for Catholic weddings only, and all weddings must be authorised by the Catholic Diocese of Wollongong

No, groups bring their own facilitators and design their own retreat programs. We provide the accommodation, catering (if required), and peaceful space—you create the experience. We do host one annual guided retreat each year (see our Guided Retreat page for details)

Chapel viewings are available by appointment for couples considering our venue for their wedding. For general visits, please contact our Centre Manager. We also welcome the community to our weekly Sunday Mass—see our Mass page for details.

We primarily operate as a retreat centre for overnight guests. However, if you're considering Hartzer Park for a future retreat or wedding, we're happy to arrange a viewing by appointment.
