This is a casual position working approximately 4 days per week, with genuine potential to become permanent for the right person. Hours are typically 8:30am – 4:00pm, with some flexibility — days and times can be discussed with the Centre Manager.

No two days are exactly the same. You might spend the morning preparing guest rooms, assist in the kitchen at lunch, and welcome a retreat group in the afternoon. The variety keeps the role interesting, and the environment makes it genuinely enjoyable.

Day to day, the role includes:

• Housekeeping - Preparing and maintaining guest rooms and communal spaces to a high standard

• Kitchen support - Assisting with meal preparation, service, and kitchen cleanliness

• Light maintenance - General upkeep of the grounds and facilities

• Guest & event support - Welcoming and assisting retreat groups, guests and assisting the Centre Manager with any duties.

• Occasional weekend work may be required for special events such as wedding ceremonies.

• Previous experience in hospitality, cleaning, or a similar role is an advantage — though full training will be provided.

Requirements:

• A current ‘Working with Children Check’, or willingness to obtain one prior to commencement

• Own reliable transport to and from Hartzer Park

• Right to work in Australia
